Chers amis, J’aimerais vous parler du prochain événement que je co-produit à Montréal sous la bannière « Le Caribou Sonore ». Certains d’entre-vous m’ont peut-être déjà entendu parler de ceci. Pour ceux à qui je n’ai pas eu la chance d’en parler, « Le Caribou Sonore » est un projet qui explore, produit et propage des musiques créatives passées « entre les mailles du filet ». Autrement dit, nous mettons l’accent sur des musiques qui occupent la périphérie des circuits habituels.

ICASP Executive Member Kevin McNeilly releases debut collection of poetry, Embouchure

Kevin McNeilly, ICASP Co-investigator, University of British Columbia Site Manager and a Member of the ICASP Executive Committee, has released his debut poetry collection, Embouchure. Embouchure compiles the intertwined lineages of trumpet players who came to prominence in the States during the “pre-bop” era, loosely defined as the period between 1890 and 1939.
