Improviser-in-Residence 2013 Launch Event: Rich Marsella

On Saturday, May 25th, 2013 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Musagetes, 6 Dublin Street South in Guelph, ICASP and Musagetes proudly present the launch of the 2013 Improviser-in-Residence program featuring this year's improviser, Rich Marsella.

Rich Marsella is an eclectic and acclaimed composer and performer who has recorded extensively for his own record label, The Pumpkin Pie Corporation, and in Europe for Hazelwood Records. His music has been featured in film and television, while his most recent album, Re Need a New F-Word, was released in April, 2013. Marsella works as the Director for the Regent Park School of Music and as the founder and Director for the Brampton Indie Arts Festival. He is a familiar friend of the Guelph Jazz Festival and in 2008 collaborated with KidsAbility, Matana Roberts, and Rob Wallace for a performance called, "Play Who You Are".
