ICASP Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 2010-11: Call for Applications

ICASP invites applications of postdoctoral researchers for two residential fellowships to be held at the University of Guelph, McGill University, or Université de Montréal (in association with CREUM – Centre de recherché en éthique). The project seeks to contribute to interdisciplinary research and graduate training in the emerging field of improvisation studies. Applications from researchers working in the principal research areas related to our project are encouraged; we also welcome applications from different areas, provided applicants' work has a direct link to the social, cultural, or political implications of improvised musical practices. Follow the link to read more about our Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, including details of research areas, application criteria, and details of fellowship support.

We’ll all be more innovative if we participate in collaborative webs and share more openly. Creativity is always a collaboration and it’s always a form of improvisation, written large in the social world.
