Robert Lepage

Robert Marcel Lepage has been a composer, clarinetist, and comic strip artist in Montreal for over three decades. He was a member of the AME and EMIM, and has worked with many musicians, such as: René Lussier, Jean Derome, ­Martin Tétreault, and Michel F. Côté. Lepage has composed music for over a hundred films including documentaries and movies made by cinematographers such as Bernard Émond, Benoît Pilon, Catherine Martin, Magnus Isacsson and Patricio Henriquez. He has also composed scores for animated films made by Pierre Hébert such as La Plante humaine, and for television series such as Urgence, Réseaux, and Allez Raconte. Lepage has composed for modern dance choreographers such as Louise Bédard and Lucie Grégoire. He has published a book of illustrations entitled Le Robert Illustré de la Clarinette. Lepage’s music can be heard on the Ambiances Magnétiques label.
