Waterman to teach at Chicago Creative Music Workshop

ICASP member Ellen Waterman joins Roscoe Mitchell, William Parker, Nicole Mitchell, Michael Zerang, and David Boykin as faculty at the Chicago Creative Music Workshop (CCMW). The intensive workshop on improvisation will be held Sept. 2-3, 2009, preceding the Chicago Jazz Festival.

To be held at Columbia College, Chicago, Ill., the 2-day intensive will feature master classes, workshops, rehearsals, lectures and performances centered on creative improvisation, composition and related scholarship.

CCMW welcomes emerging talents, college students and professionals from the US and abroad to convene for a unique and expansive opportunity for professional development.
