Ajay Heble continues recovery in Guelph

Ajay Heble, Improvisation, Community, and Social Practice project director, is continuing his recovery at his home in Guelph from the heart attack he suffered on May 26. He returned to Guelph on June 7.

Ellen Waterman, the University of Guelph site coordinator, will continue as acting project director. Further decisions regarding project leadership will be made once there is a clearer prognosis of Dr. Heble’s treatment.

The Guelph Jazz Festival and Colloquium, of which Dr. Heble is the creative director, has announced the lineup for Sept. 3-7 event on June 25. Dr. Heble had completed programming the festival before becoming ill.
