Now in its 19th year, the Guelph Jazz Festival and Colloquium has become one of Canada’s leading music festivals—and one of the most provocative arts events in the country. During the first Thinking Spaces reading group of the 2012/13 academic year, we’ll talk about the 2012 festival, comparing notes on our favourite musical and intellectual moments, and discussing the few inevitable events that perhaps left us scratching our heads.
