Steve Sladkowski is a fourth-year President's Scholar studying Music at the University of Guelph. His research interests include musical improvisation, jazz historiography, and the development of musical aesthetics in Western culture. He is an active performer, bandleader, and session musician in the Guelph and Toronto areas and is currently organizing the Guelph Improvised Music Series (beginning in March 2010).
