Scott Herder is an MA student in the University of Guelph's School of English and Theatre Studies. His research interests are concerned with the rhetoric of narrative focalization in literature and its philosophical relationship to our own notions of subjectivities. He is currently focusing these interests upon Michael Ondaatje's works and early 20th Century Anglo-American literatures.

– John McLaughlin in an interview with Daniel Fischlin.
