Summer 2010: Administrative Assistant

Rachel is an undergraduate student studying Environmental Governance and English. Her role in the ICASP project is to help coordinate the Summer Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation (2010) and to provide administrative support.

Improvisation implies a deep connection between the personal and the communal, self and world. A “good” improviser successfully navigates musical and institutional boundaries and the desire for self-expression, pleasing not only herself but the listener as well.
