2010-2012: Research Assistant, Sylvia Safdie Video Exhibit and Book

Lauren Diez d’Aux is studying at the MA level at McGill University in Art History, specializing in Post-war and Contemporary Art. She completed her BA at McGill University with a major in Art History and a minor in Film Studies. She is currently working as a research assistant for ICASP, working with Dr. Eric Lewis on a video exhibit and book project on the work of Montreal-based artist Sylvia Safdie. Her research interests include post-war L.A. art, light-based installation works, and discourses on spirituality and minimalism in the patronage of post-war American art.
